Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Flowt Intelligence Inc. ("Flowt," "we," "us," or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Flowt platform, including our website at flowt.africa, mobile applications, and all related services.
By creating an account, accessing our platform, or using any of our services, you acknowledge that:

- A company or individual seeking financing through the Flowt platform.
- "Lender"
- A financial institution, fund, or other entity that provides financing through the Flowt marketplace.
- "Content"
- Any data, text, files, information, or materials uploaded, submitted, or created on the Platform.
Description of Services
Flowt provides a business loans marketplace connecting African businesses with lenders. Our services include:
Financial Health Check Assessment
AI-powered analysis of your business's financial health and loan eligibility
ERP Integration
Secure connection to accounting systems like QuickBooks, Sage, and Odoo
Lender Matching
Automated matching with appropriate financing partners based on your profile
Application Management
Tools to manage and track your loan applications
Financial Insights
Actionable recommendations to improve your financing prospects
Document Management
Secure storage and sharing of financial documents
Note: Flowt is a marketplace and technology platform. We do not provide financial advice, act as a lender, or guarantee loan approval. Final lending decisions are made solely by the lenders.
Eligibility
To use Flowt's services, you must meet the following requirements:
For Business Users
- Be a legally registered business operating in Africa
- Have at least 12 months of operating history (for most services)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Have authorization to share business financial information
For Individual Representatives
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have legal authority to act on behalf of the business
- Provide accurate personal and contact information
For Lenders
- Be a licensed financial institution or registered fund
- Comply with applicable lending regulations
- Complete our lender verification process
Account Registration
When you create an account on Flowt, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Keep your password confidential and secure
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
Warning: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false information, violate these Terms, or engage in fraudulent activity.
User Obligations

- Results are algorithmic analyses and do not constitute financial advice
- Scores and recommendations are proprietary to Flowt
- Assessment results may be shared with lenders as part of your loan applications
- We do not guarantee any specific outcomes or loan approvals based on assessment results
Data Accuracy Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the accuracy of data provided for assessment. Inaccurate data will result in unreliable assessments and may affect your ability to obtain financing.
Lender Marketplace
Flowt operates as a marketplace connecting businesses with lenders. You understand that:
- Flowt does not provide loans directly; we facilitate connections with third-party lenders
- Each lender has their own terms, rates, and approval criteria
- Loan agreements are between you and the lender, not Flowt
- We do not guarantee lender availability, terms, or approval
- You should review all lender terms carefully before accepting any offer
Important: Flowt is not responsible for the actions, terms, or defaults of any lender on our platform. Any disputes regarding loan terms should be directed to the lender.
Fees & Payments
Platform Fees
Flowt may charge fees for certain services, including premium financial health check reports, expedited processing, and subscription plans. All fees are displayed before purchase.
Payment Terms
- All fees are payable in the currency specified at checkout
- Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers
- Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis
- You authorize us to charge your payment method for all fees incurred
Refund Policy
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Generally, fees for completed services (such as generated reports) are non-refundable. Subscription cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Intellectual Property
Flowt's Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Platform—including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, algorithms, and the overall design—are owned by Flowt or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Your Content
You retain ownership of data and content you upload. However, you grant Flowt a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and display your content as necessary to provide our services.
Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Platform or included software, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of that software.
Data & Accuracy
The quality of our services depends on accurate data. You represent and warrant that:
- All information you provide is true, accurate, and complete
- You have the right to share any data you submit to the Platform
- Financial data from connected systems accurately reflects your business
- You will promptly update information if it becomes inaccurate
Fraud Warning: Submitting false or misleading information may constitute fraud and could result in legal action, account termination, and reporting to relevant authorities.
Disclaimers
THE PLATFORM AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Flowt disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
- Warranties that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
- Warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any information
- Warranties that any defects will be corrected
Flowt does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice. Our assessments and recommendations are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FLOWT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
This includes, without limitation, damages for:
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Costs of procurement of substitute services
- Business interruption or loss of goodwill
- Any decisions made based on Platform information
In no event shall Flowt's total liability exceed the greater of: (a) the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Flowt, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Platform or Services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Any content or data you submit to the Platform
- Your relationship with any lender connected through the Platform
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through account settings. Upon termination, you will lose access to the Platform and any associated data.
Termination by Flowt
We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason we deem appropriate.
Effect of Termination
- All rights granted to you under these Terms will cease
- You must stop using the Platform immediately
- We may delete your data after a reasonable retention period
- Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution
Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us first to attempt to resolve any dispute informally within 30 days.
Arbitration
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). The arbitration shall be conducted in English in the State of Delaware, United States.
Class Action Waiver
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of the Platform shall be instituted in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:
- We will update the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms
- We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on the Platform
- Material changes will be communicated at least 30 days before taking effect
- Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance
